The Lights of Albuquerque

Friends of ours sent us this picture. Some say it maybe "Photoshopped"; however, we were born and raised it that beautiful city and I can tell you Albuquerque does look like this.

Country singer Jim Glaser wrote a song called “The Light of Albuquerque” and what famous cartoon character should have made a right turn at Albuquerque?

1. Albuquerque is missing a letter “r”. Pronounce it correctly and you know where it goes.

2. Albuquerque is home to the International Balloon Fiesta.












3. Home of AAA baseball team the Albuquerque Isotopes.That’s right, The Simpson’s.

4. Saved the best for last, In Albuquerque you can receive Green chile on your food at any restaurant. With the exception of like Taco B. None the less, you walk into Subway, Micky D’s, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Chile’s, Applebee’s and the list continues and order your meal with GREEN CHILE!
