As Michelle and I were reading the Bible tonight, we came across this from Pastor Chuck in reference to Psalm 63:8, in The Word For Today Bible:
The hand of God:
"Your right hand upholds me. " How big is the right hand of God? Isiah tells us that God measured heaven with a span (Is 40:12). That span is the distance between your thumb and your little finger. Scientists used to say that the universe was 12 billion light years in radius. Now they say it is at least 15 billion light years. God's hand was bigger than they thought. That is 90,000 billion miles! And that is just his hand! No wonder David felt comfortable, resting in God's right hand.
