Facing Giants

I learned something this weekend while attending the CCM Men's Conference.

"When you're down to nothing, God's up to something"

This video provides how I feel and let me tell you, I want to quit. However, I can't deny the work of the Lord in our lives. God is at work in our lives even when we don't see it.

I've come to the conclusion that before I try to apply all the things I've learned this past weekend, I need a new attitude. If I have the wrong heart or attitude and try to apply what I've learn; I'm going to fall right back into the same old rut I was in before.

Attitude is defined as a personal view of something. Earlier in this movie, the coach says, “Your attitude is like the aroma of your heart. If you attitude stinks, your hearts not right” So let me ask you, what is your attitude of God when we face trials in our lives? Do we run and cower in a corner. Do we give up? Or do we stand firm on God’s word and be lead into victory by His awesome power.
